The Fresenius Kabi Nutrition Service Team is pleased to offer the following support services to our customers :-
Nutrition Helpline
When you want you questions answering promptly we are the only nutrition helpline answered directly by registered dietitians from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. We offer:
· Professional nutrition advice on the use and composition of the Fresenius Kabi enteral product range
· Verbal and written responses available
· Additional information, such as clinical references, patient information leaflets (e.g. Fresubin® supplement range recipe booklets, aftercare instructions for Freka® feeding tubes, guidelines on using Thick & Easy™ with Dysphagia training DVD), provided where appropriate
· Dedicated helpline for adult and paediatric enquiries on 01928 533516
Information Service
When you want to go into more depth our information service is the only one to provide a free Quarterly Abstract Bulletin in addition to our other range of information, which includes:
· Access to online databases for literature searches
· Extensive library of medical, nursing and nutrition journals
· Clinical reference papers and abstracts available on request
· Same day delivery on most literature searches and clinical references
· Comparing nutritional profiles of The Fresubin® product range vs. Dietary Reference Values
· Nutrition Service e-bulletin is a quick and easy way to stay abreast of the most recent developments from Fresenius Kabi. The Nutrition Service e-Bulletin will keep you up-to-date with the latest enteral nutrition product developments, news, publications, study days and events from Fresenius Kabi.
Education and training
When you want to keep up to date our education and training service is the only service providing two free accredited study days each year plus a wide range of other educational resources including:
· Comprehensive range of clinical nutrition presentations available
· Supporting CPD through our information and education service
· Nationwide nutrition lecture service provided by our specialist team of dietitians
· Sponsorship for educational awards e.g. PENG award, Student awards at four of the UK’s Dietetic degree courses
· Audio-visual library service of training and educational DVD
Fresenius Kabi Nutrition Service is able to offer a number of educational materials, which are designed to compliment the training process and to support the professional in their development.
Nutrition Service Study Days
The Nutrition Service Department organise two annual national Nutrition Service Study Days. The Study Days cover a range of key topics relevant to enteral nutrition support, where key opinion leaders are invited to speak. Each study day is advertised nationally in the dietetic and nursing press and receives an overwhelming response with over 120 delegates attending. The study days are free of charge and open to all NHS and Fresenius Kabi customers.
