Colloids
Fresenius Kabi are innovators in the area of volume replacement and provide a range of hydroxyethyl starches for this purpose. Hydroxyethyl starches are powerful colloids derived from maize and are classified as plasma substitutes. They are used to maintain, replace or expand plasma volume prophylactically or therapeutically in hypovolaemia or circulatory shock (such as in surgery, trauma, sepsis and burns). Fresenius Kabi manufacture Voluven 6%, Volulyte 6% and Voluven 10%.
Anaesthesia
Fresenius Kabi manufacture Propoven® 1% & 2% for induction and maintenance of anaesthesia.
Sterile Solutions
Fresenius Kabi manufactures and markets a complete range of licensed standard intravenous infusion solutions for all your infusion therapy requirements. Products are all manufactured in GMP-approved licensed facilities with appropriate ‘Quality System’ accreditation and are available in a variety of pack volumes and presentations (PVC Steriflex® bags, non-PVC flexible Freeflex® bags, or semi-rigid polyethylene Polyfusor® bottles) to meet your specific needs.
