· 75cm polyurethane tube with distal open end.
· Long split cannula/introducer (white – 13cm).

Indications

For early post-operative long-term intrajejunal nutrition after laparotomy or laparoscopy.

Contraindications

· Ileus
· Immune suppression
· Peritonitis
· Acute Abdomen
· Sepsis
· Ascites
· Blood clotting disorders
· Severe general wound healing disorders
· Peritoneal carcinoma
· Chrohn’s disease
· Ulcerative Colitis

Tube Care

Flush the tube before and after nutrition is administrated – at least once a day – with warm water using the universal blue adapter and 50ml luer lock syringe.

Administration of Medication

Administer exclusively dissolved medications via the tube and flush the tube with water.

Important Notes

Flush the tube carefully before and after each administration of medications. Do not under any circumstances administer medications such as antacids with the nutrition.
