DESCRIPTION
A colourless, viscous solution with a consistency resembling natural saliva

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Glandosane® is a saliva substitute for patients with dryness of the oral mucosa and throat e.g. maintenance of oral hygiene in intensive care units, patients receiving radiotherapy treatment, following oral surgery, during treatments with certain drugs which suppress saliva production such as some antidepressants and chemotherapy agents.

Glandosane® is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for patients suffering from a dry mouth as a result of radiotherapy or sicca syndrome (xerostomia)

All prescriptions must be endorsed ACBS ( Advisory Committee on Borderline Substances)

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Spray onto the oral and pharyngeal mucosa for 1-2 seconds as often as required or as directed by a healthcare professional.

STORAGE

Protect from direct sunlight. Store in a cool (below 50°C), dry place.

2 years from date of manufacture


Glandosane does not contain any ingredients which have been derived from animals.
